I have created the silhouette of a wine bottle from ten segments I have painted, all of which are based around small sections of twilight sky variations. The range of colours/segments within the bottle is done to hint at the variety of different wines, reflecting on different colours, smells and tastes that each different wine possesses.
I have chosen to use clouds as they are the source of rain and play an essential part of nurturing the grapevines of the vineyard. I also wanted to subtly suggest the many different shapes of glasses and wine bottles throughout my use of different shaped clouds. I planned on avoiding too many daytime sky colours as I wanted to portray the ambience of beautiful evening skies which relates to the fact that wine is usually drank of an evening.
